Right after the new make up collection presentation & photo shoot at Dior Haute Couture Salons, my blogger friend Su and I crossed the street to have lunch at one of the most chic parisian brasseries, L'Avenue, at the exquisite Avenue Mointaigne.
Depois da apresentação dos batons e do photo shoot nos Ateliers de Alta Costura da Dior, fomos almoçar ao très chic L’Avenue, mesmo em frente à Dior da Avenue Mointaigne.
L'Avenue is a typically and marvelous Parisian brasserie, super cozy and charming on the inside, with a beautiful terrace on the outside. Despite the inviting terrace, we end up having lunch on the inside, after all is not every day that we have the opportunity to have a meal in a room decorated by such an international talent as the designer and decorator Jacques Garcia.
O L’Avenue é uma brasserie giríssima, daquelas típicas parisienses, super cosy e charmosa por dentro e com uma esplanada maravilhosa lá fora. Apesar da esplanada convidativa, acabamos por nos instalar lá dentro, afinal não é todos os dias que temos a oportunidade de almoçar num espaço decorado pelo famoso designer e decorador Jacques Garcia.
Su ordered a fabulous shrimp risotto and I couldn't resist to the filet mingnon with a superb herb butter sauce and divine mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, we had no time for dessert, ‘cause we have had an appointment at the Institute Dior and we didn't want to arrive late.
A Su pediu um risotto de camarão fabuloso e eu não resisti ao filet mingnon com molho de manteiga e ervas, de chorar por mais, e puré de batatas gratinadas, que estava absolutamente divino. Infelizmente, já não ouve tempo para sobremesas, pois tínhamos hora marcada no Instituto Dior e não queríamos chegar atrasadas.
One time at the hotel, we went straight to the Dior Institute, a wonderful space, where everything from the color of the walls, to the aroma, light and temperature of the room were inviting you to total relax. We were delightfully received, with super comfortable robe and slippers, while we waited our turn in a sort of antechamber filled with white chaise-longues and cushions, where they were serving us orange juice and cookies.
Assim que chagamos ao Hotel fomos directas ao Instituto Dior, um espaço maravilhoso, onde tudo, desde as cores, ao aroma, passando pela iluminação e temperatura convidam ao relaxamento total. Fomos super bem recebidas, com robes e chinelos super confortáveis e ficámos à espera da nossa vez, numa espécie de antecâmara cheia de chaise-longues brancas, com almofadas, onde nos serviram sumo de laranja natural e bolinhos.
The 45-minute face treatment, plus massage and make-up session were an absolute dream. Of the many treatments I have ever done, this was without doubt the most relaxing and comfortable, just not to mention the undeniable supreme quality of the products.
Os 45 minutos de tratamento de rosto, mais massagem e sessão de maquilhagem foram de sonho. Dos muitos tratamentos que já fiz, este foi sem dúvida, o mais relaxante e confortável. E os produtos de uma qualidade e superioridades inegáveis.
It was a bit of a challenge return to our rooms just after such a relaxing moment. But time was running up and we still had had an appointment in our agendas. The launching of the Dior Make Up Backstage site with a cocktail-dinatory at the super exclusive Le Silencio, an astonishing club inspired in one scene of the David Lynch’s movie “Mullholand Drive” and decorated by Lynch himself. Sadly, photos were not allowed at Le Silencio, so you have to wait one next post to see our outfits.
Foi um verdadeiro desafio regressar aos quartos para nos arranjarmos depois de um momento tão relaxante, mas o tempo corre e ainda tínhamos um evento na agenda - O Cocktail-dinatory do lançamento do site Dior Make Up Backstage no exclusivo clube Le Silencio, onde infelizmente não foi possível tirar fotografias.
